When he’d first seen her, he’d been content to fall back, to simply observe her from a distance. Distance was good, safe, comfortable, and yet, it was painful. He parted his lips to reply, but his voice failed him at first. The second try went over better.

Her expression, though he could not put a finger on what exactly about it, drew him forward, almost without his realizing that he was moving towards her.

How long have I slept for this time?
Just like we agreed to it, I went to a kinda like a danger room in the order; this was the place where would would train yourself and many would spar with each other. I was waiting for Krory because I wanted to know how strong he was, plus I needed some training. I was going to ask Kanda, but I don’t think he knows what a spar is, he would probably try to kill me right away.
I let my back rest on one of the walls and waited for him. I hoped he didn’t forget our fun appointment.
He wasn’t supposed to have stopped to watch some of the finders sparring as well, but the one man who’d told him that he’d seen Daisya head in a certain direction just a moment ago had been pulled along with the other finders as they moved to an actual room to practice in. Krory hurried to get out of their way, but glanced about as he did so, trying to remember. What time was it now? He’d hate to make a poor impression right away, but…
He sighed with relief when he caught sight of an open sparring room, and poked his head in, wringing his hands as he checked inside first. When he saw Daisya, he stepped in quickly, head lowered a bit in shame. “I hope I’m not too late, de aru,” he apologized, heading towards the boy.
